Roethlisberger is back on feet and ready for Saturday exhibition

The Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger took part in Tuesday’s practice. The injured foot did not seem to affect his performance at all. Coach Mike Tomlin said Roethlisberger will play Saturday night’s exhibition game against the Buffalo Bills.

Roethlisberger injured his right foot last Thursday when left tackle Max Starks accidentally stepped on his right foot during training camp practice. The injury was not serious but kept him out of last Saturday’s preseason game against the Washington Redskins.

Roethlisberger did not appear to feel any significant discomfort while practicing in individual drills, including the 7-on-7 passing drills but had a slight limp. He also had some snaps late in the workout. I guess that means he has been completely ready to play a half on Saturday night.
