Packers offered contracts to three more rookies

The Green Bay Packers are seemingly planning to add as much fresh blood as possible and they signed as many as three draft picks on Wednesday. The three rookies are fifth-round pick OG-OT Marshall Newhouse, running back James Starks drafted from the sixth round and defensive end picked by the team in seventh round.

All of three rookies had pretty impressive college career before entering the 2010 NFL draft. Newhouse had experience of playing as the starting left tackle for TCU, finishing his college career with appearance in 52 games and a title of first-team All-Mountain West Conference.

Starks grew up as a fan for former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin but turned to a running back during college football career. He still likes collecting Michael Irvin jerseys and always sets the Pro Football Hall of famer as his idol to follow. The young man did good job as a running back and holds school records for rushing touchdowns (34) and points scored (222).

Wilson started 37 of his 54 career games while playing for the East Carolina. His records of 192 tackles and 27 sacks made him win first-team All-Conference USA honors each of his final two college seasons.
