More injuries to Redskins lineup

The Washington Redskins lineup is worrying as more players in Redskins jerseys got injured: running back Clinton Portis is doubtful for playing against the Denver Broncos next week, safety Chris Horton would be out for at least four to six weeks, and offensive lineman Mike Williams is to be out for two to four weeks. All are with injuries.

Portis has been recovering from a concussion since taking a helmet-to-helmet blow in the first quarter of last Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. A test will be done on Tuesday and tell if the running back would be available for the Broncos game.

Already with left tackle Chris Samuels and right guard Randy Thomas on IR, the Redskins could have to put Horton and Williams on IR, too. Horton damaged a ligament in his left big toe and Williams tore his ligament in his ankle. Both need to see specialists to decide playing status for the rest of the season.
