On the rainy Wednesday, the Dallas Cowboys practiced at Southlake Carroll High School’s indoor facility, indoor for the first time since their indoor facility collapsed in May. Injured quarterback Tony Romo and running back Felix Jones both took part in the practice, with Mike Hamlin and Jason Williams becoming the only players who did not practice Wednesday.
Romo sprained his right ankle during a 34-21 victory over Tampa Bay, but did not miss any snaps in the game and expect to play against the New York Giants on Sunday night.
As for Jones, he bruised his thigh while playing against the Buccaneers. He returned to practice, too, but was limited. He played only six games as a rookie because of injuries and is expected to be a key part of the offense this season.
