The attractiveness of the luxurious Cowboys Stadium did not help the Dallas Cowboys win over the New York Giants. The record crowd 105,121 did not have the chance to cheer for the host of the game in the stadium they had been proud of.
The big crowd of audience included standing-room only revelers, sports world luminaries like basketball's LeBron James and former US president George W. Bush. For most of them, the stadium is one of the most important reasons for them to be there. The result of the game might be a bit disappointing, but it was still the most memorable experience to watch a game between two strong teams in the most luxurious stadium
The disappointing game result was not surprising to me. Neither team could win each other easily. A good stadium could offer very little advantage to the host. The Cowboys have Felix Jones and the Giants have Eli Manning. And it was a fittingly suspenseful end to a rollicking contest in which the lead changed more than half a dozen times and neither team led by more than half a dozen points. Sunday’s losing told something or not, and there is still space for high expectation with the Cowboys and their stadium before the season ends.
