The sprained toe is still a problem and will prevent Terrell Owens from practicing until next week. So, for the coming Saturday, fans will not see him playing for the Buffalo Bills against the Green Bay Packers.
Owens made a brief return to practice on Monday, which was said to be a test of the sore toe. However, he missed the next two days of practices, because the sore toe still brought discomfort to Owens while practicing. The team surely does not want to rush Owens back, so it will take some more days for him to return to full practice.
Owens jammed the toe in a 21-18 loss to Tennessee in the Hall of Fame game on Aug. 9 and since then had been kept out except for the 20-minute workout on Monday. There are two more Bills preseason games after playing Green Bay, so we are in hope that Owens will be able to play at Pittsburgh on Aug. 29 and home against Detroit on Sept. 3.
